Meditation for Thursday, 7/17/25
“Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:28-31 NIV

“On Eagles’ Wings” is one of my favorite hymns. “Come Thou Font” followed it-also beautiful. Love Shane and Shane’s rendition. It’s amazing his voice is so strong. He hardly opens his mouth! Thanks, Cindy!

On Eagles Wings is one of the songs I play when I go to bed at night. Playing hymns that I love takes my mind off my cares and I can go right to sleep! Thanks for commenting, Nancy. I love to hear your thoughts. Blessings, my friend! π

Sometimes, we do get weary, don’t we? But God is faithful to strengthen and encourage us. We can count on it! God bless you as you serve the King!
