“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.” John 15:7-8) NKJV
To abide in Christ means to dwell in His Word, walk in obedience, and remain in constant reliance upon Him. The result is a life that glorifies God.
When we recognize that we can do nothing apart from Him, we also recognize that all we accomplish is by His power and for His purposes.
In His Love, Cindy

I have a plaque in my kitchen w/ colorful fruit that reads: “The fruit of the Spirit is peace.” That is obviously from Galatians. I bought the plaque as a reminder that the fruit of the Spirit is powerful, but not always concrete. I tend to long for immediate and tangible proof that my efforts have had a positive impact. Often, however, we do not know whether our efforts have had any impact at all. The seed we plant may wither or take years to mature. We can though be certain of the impact walking w/ Christ will have on our own lives and character. ❤

Amen! I am reminded of the verse that says,
” I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.” 1Corinthians 3:6-7 NASB
Knowing that it is God alone who causes the seeds we plant to grow, He gets all the glory!
I am encouraged by this:
“Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.” Proverbs 16:3 AMPC
God bless you Anna as you serve Him! 💕
