Christian, Jews

Quote of the Week, 2/26/25

You can be Jewish and have no connection with Christians, but I can’t be Christian and not be completely connected to the Jewish people. Our entire faith is built on the foundation of Judaism and the Scriptures. We are people of the book and in Genesis it says that God blesses those who bless Israel and curses those who curse Israel.โ€

  1. 100% agree, and thank you for saying it! I am grieved that my bible believing church (Baptist, UK) often mentions Gaza and Ukraine in corporate prayers, but never Israel and, even after this most dreadful, heartbreaking week, still no one prayed for the hostages to be released or for the Bibas family. It breaks my heart. I’ve spoken to the lead Pastor in the past, and last night I said to my life group leader, who is an elder, that WE are missing the blessing from God because we do not bless Israel! I will always stand with Israel and the Jewish people. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ

    1. Thank you for sharing that. My church doesn’t pray for Israel either (as far as I know). It isn’t a political opinion. It is God’s Word that tells us to love and pray for Israel. The evil done to the Bibas family breaks my heart, too.
Do you know who Amir Tsarfati is? He is an Israeli believer, author, and speaker. He has a Telegram channel which will keep you up-to-date on what is happening in Israel and around the world. I highly recommend it. Here is the link:
