Finding Strength in Old Testament Scriptures

1-minute read Tuesday’s Verse, 2/25/25

“For whatever was thus written in former days was written for our instruction, that by [our steadfast and patient] endurance and the encouragement [drawn] from the Scriptures we might hold fast to and cherish hope.” Romans 15:4 AMPC

Comment: Reading the Old Testament will give us strength and patience for today.

In His Love, Cindy

  1. Thank you, dear Cindy. This year I began The Bible Recap with Tara Leigh Cobble. I’ll often go to Chuck Missler’s videos, too. Each new year I learn and “see” Jesus woven throughout it all! The understanding and wisdom is something I seek daily. I don’t ever want to stop learning and applying. I think of you a lot, Cindy, sending love and blessings to you and Henry. I’ll say a prayer too.❤️🙏🏻🐾

  2. A while back someone gave me a study guide to find Christ in every book of the Bible. It opened up my understanding of how God was weaving the gospel message from Genesis to Revelation. Sorry I gave the study to someone else so I do not remember the name of the one I had but a quick web search brought up several books and articles about the subject.

When we see Christ in the Old Testament, the types and shadows of our Lord it begins to weave an image of our Lord that was more complete then when I first believed.
