Love the quote. Courage through deep conviction ought to be the most obvious mark of a genuine believer. The early century martyrs who were burned or torn apart by beasts set the bar for courage in the face of persecution. Not sure how niceness and passivity entered the picture, but I doubt many crowns will be handed out for those. Thanks for continuing to post powerful, insightful articles.
