Tuesday’s Verse, 3/19/24

“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms,
    and there are no grapes on the vines;
even though the olive crop fails,
    and the fields lie empty and barren;
even though the flocks die in the fields,
    and the cattle barns are empty,
 yet I will rejoice in the Lord!
    I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
 The Sovereign Lord is my strength!
    He makes me as surefooted as a deer,
    able to tread upon the heights.” Habakkuk 3:17-19 NLT

In His Love, Cindy

  1. I love this verse and have called on it many times when I need to remind myself that no matter what happens, I can rejoice in God’s goodness to me! And, as always, God’s timing is perfect, because I needed this reminder today! Thank you 😊

    1. As I read your message today, it makes me think of how much I wish everyone could say what you just said. But most people don’t know this indescribable love of God. May the Lord give us opportunities to tell people about it. God bless you today!

  2. I love this verse. It reminds me that even when late frost kills the blossom, and drought dries up the olives and meadows wither till even the wild animals die of thirst, God remains our stream in the desert and our way in the wilderness.
