Quote of the Week, 3/6/24

There are no convenient shortcuts that I am aware of when it comes to immersing oneself in the study of God’s Holy Word. Similarly, there are no quick paths to acquiring the skill of exercising Biblical discernment and diligently testing all things. The cultivation of these essential priorities demands time, unwavering dedication, and a sincere and prayerful pursuit of God’s wisdom.”

  1. Cindy, this is a home run quote! Or let’s say a dunk in honor of March Madness! I’m spending MUCH time growing my communion with Christ. The time and effort I’m spending is not a waste–it’s my LIFE! Currently, I’m reading “The Utter Relief of Holiness” by John Eldrige and “The Indwelling Life of Christ of Him in All of Me”. I love Bruce’s book, too! It’s a joy to grow in Christ! It’s so good to “see” you, Cindy. I’m utterly tired and worn out. I’m so thankful to Christ to be here. I’m sorry I haven’t been here to support you much lately. It will get better with time! Two Cardinals visited me this morning–it was a sign to get out and enjoy this spring day before 3 days of rain come. God bless you and Henry! Finn and I love you two!
