I was recently informed by an editor of a Christian periodical, that my writing was not a good fit for their magazine because God could not be referred to as He. Today’s verse gives me great comfort indeed reminding me that He has become my salvation!

Excuse we while I pick myself up off the floor! Nothing should surprise me in today’s world, but sometimes I can’t believe my eyes! Sounds like that might make a good topic for a writer. God bless you today, Pastor Peter!

Yes, and that this was a Lutheran periodical, I wondered how Martin Luther would have felt, or where these folks are running off to theologically.

I think God has made it exceedingly clear what his pronouns are: He, He, and He. Somebody needs to read their Bible!

One more thing… If they think it’s hard to take a stand for Truth now, well just wait. It’s going to get worse. (I know because I read my Bible!)

Hard to believe, isn’t it? Our Father, who art in heaven . . . what would they suggest? Wait, don’t tell me! I don’t want to know! Blessings, Pete!
