Read Judges 11:1-11 to see how God called a most-unlikely person to fight Israel’s enemies, Jephthah, the son of a prostitute. Despite his many flaws, he is listed in Hebrews 11’s Hall of Faith. God can use anyone who puts their trust in Him. He doesn’t only use the “perfect people”.

Amen. He equips those whom He calls. And if He calls us to the frontline, we cannot allow fear to prevent us from answering the call.

I’m trying to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, when so many things are grasping my attention.

Many things fight for our attention. Do not neglect to read God’s Word everyday. That’s the best way to stay in tune with the Holy Spirit. God bless you abundantly as you seek to follow our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
