Message to My Fellow Bloggers

Yesterday I spilled my coffee right on my laptop keyboard!! It won’t even come on. That would be rice you see on my keyboard. I don’t have much confidence that it will work. I do everything on my laptop. I avoid using my iPhone whenever possible.

So it’s going to take a few days for me to get back full strength. For one thing I can’t type my my thumbs! I learned how to type in 1969 okay?

Fortunately, I have several posts scheduled ahead of time, but I am having a difficult time trying to read, like, and comment on your posts using my phone.

Please be patient with me. I may have to buy a new computer. Yikes!

  2. Hmm, you might want to lose the rice and try turning this upside down and taking off the covering to allow air in and moisture out. Just be careful about poking around till it is nice and dry. Maybe a hair drier on a low heat to give it some air flow or at least a small fan. The rice can’t really pull enough of the moisture straight up through the keys.

  5. I felt strange hitting the “like” button. I should spill coffee on mine (after I backup on a separate drive). There are 4 word press sites my computer freezes on as it’s very outdated and slow. Hang in there.

      1. Only us in heaven with Jesus lasts forever! And I’m glad you told me it was rice on your keyboard, at first glance it looked like maggots, and I had a “moment!” It was probably because I had not had my coffee yet!

  15. Sorry to hear this Cindy. I just changed my laptop as I had mine for years and found that it was just not updating as it should etc. was not chuffed about spending for the new one but sometimes we just need to.
