Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God…” John 1:9-12 (emphasis mine)
“To receive Him who is the Word of God means to acknowledge His claims, place one’s faith in Him, and thereby yield allegiance to Him.” MacArthur Study Bible
We are all God’s creation, but not everyone is a child of God.

I hear so many people say “we are all God’s children”, false only the born again believers can be called the children of God. Not very popular but it is the truth.
