Trust in God for Perfect Peace

“You will keep in perfect peace
    those whose minds are steadfast,
    because they trust in you.” Isaiah 26:3 NIV

The context of this promise of perfect peace is what makes it so inviting. Israel was anticipating the Day of the Lord when God would rain down judgement upon her enemies. (Jeremiah Study Bible Notes)
