The Truth Behind the Bibas Family Tragedy

3-minute read

It is very difficult for me to write about this horrific event, but I feel I must. My heart is absolutely broken. We can’t be silent or ignore this atrocity. We must, at least, learn the truth so that we will not be vulnerable to the propaganda that seeks to excuse this cruel savagery.

According to the security establishment’s assessment, the horrific murder of the Bibas family children was committed about ten days after the October 7 massacre. On a personal note, reading the details of their autopsies was one of the most difficult things I have experienced in a long time. (Hallel Biton Rozen)

IDF Spokesperson: Kfir and Ariel were murdered with bare hands, then terrible acts were committed against them to obscure the circumstances of the murder!

Yarden Bibas asked me yesterday to ensure that the entire world is shocked by the circumstances of the murder of his children. (Amir Tsarfati)

Shiri Bibas and her children were taken hostage by Palestinian civilians on October 7—not Hamas operatives! Civilians!!! After those same civilians murdered Shiri’s parents and even killed their dog. She was last seen in Gaza, barefoot, wading through the streets while holding her 9-month-old baby, Kfir, and her 4-year-old son, Ariel—surrounded by Palestinian civilians.

70% of the Palestinians who entered Israel on October 7 were civilians. They murdered, raped, looted, and burned lives… Let’s not perpetuate the absolute lie that all of this was “Hamas.” Hamas is just the tip of the iceberg. (Amir Tsarfati)

We know that many cruel and barbaric things are happening or have happened in our world. I mourn for all of them. But what happened to this family is evil and demonic. Please pray for the hostages and their families. May they turn to the Lord for comfort and healing in their grief.

Lean on God and allow Him to continue the process of healing your broken heart.

Jesus, the greatest empathizer, understands what you are going through and will stay beside you.

The Lord will wrap His arms of love and comfort around those who trust in Him.

God promises to be with you and get you through this time of intense disappointment and loneliness.

In His Love, Cindy

  1. Agree, this was grievous and pure evil what was done to this family. The culture that birth this cannot be compromised with. For most Christians they have no idea what evil really is and they stick their heads in the sand. For far too long liberals have brain washed people into believing all people are good and can be reasoned with. Well at least they believe that of themselves and any ideology except Christianity.

The Old Testament tells of atrocities to the Jewish people. There is a hatred that exist in this world for anything that is of God. It is why the Bible tells us to be equipped to do spiritual warfare on our knees with the full armor of God in place.

Where is the out rage over this kind of thing from the church. The hardest thing for me to deal with is complacency. Far too many believe stories like this are an exaggeration, so they ignore it.

Thank you Cindy for not ignoring it, thank you for your courage. Blessings to you.

    1. Eileen, Thank you for your encouraging words. I appreciate it so much. I don’t understand why so many churches are silent about what is going on in Israel. I may have to start asking questions. I may seem courageous in my writing, but in person I am timid and non-confrontational.
You’re right. Many people are brainwashed. I don’t understand that either. The enemy is more at work than most of us know: lying, deceiving, and brainwashing the naive.
I will join you to pray for the Church to have wisdom and discernment. Blessings, my friend and sister in Christ!

      1. Thank you again Cindy, Thought I would let you know I have changed my blog so you will see “Old Granny J” instead of “Signing English”. I understand when you say “in person being timid and non-confrontational”. If I am correct you were a teacher for a long time. First thank you for that service. Second, my eighth grade teacher had a big impact on my life and she stayed connected with me until I started college. Her health got bad and she could no longer keep up communication. To this day I miss her.

From the things you write here, your influence is greater than you may believe. As a teacher you had to learn how to navigate so many things, students, parents, other faculty, board members, school administrators, etc. So you learned the art of influence by your demeanor, your words and your heart. Just like you do here. Thank you.

        1. Eileen, Thank you for your kind and encouraging words.
I think it is amazing that you stayed in communication with your 8th grade teacher all those years. That is one special teacher!
I look forward to reading your new blog. God bless you as you serve Him! 💕

  2. There are truly no words to describe how horrific this is. I agree that the world needs to know the truth. I saw a video of another hostage who described how civilians, including children, were as much a part of the atrocities as Hamas was. He said they are all Hamas.

  3. How sad and heart rending to hear of how this happened and especially to such children. It is untrue however to think that American Christians cannot recognize the evil one. He simply wears different masks and uses different methods of attack in different cultures. As Jesus told us, the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. Only the power of Christ can break that cycle of death, who came to destroy the works of the evil one to give us life…His own in exchange for ours.

    1. Thank you for commenting, Pastor Pete. It’s true that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But God! He sent Jesus to rescue us! Praise His holy name! God bless you as you serve Him!
