Is There Hope for America?

The only hope for America is that she would seek Truth and love it. Jesus is the Truth. His Word is Truth, and therefore we have access to Truth.

The devil is the prince of this world and the father of lies. His goal is to deceive and destroy.

Jesus said, “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” John 8:44 NIV

The tolerance of Satan’s lies has had severe consequences:

  • Anti-semitism is at an all-time high.
  • Terrorism is cheered while the innocent are hated (U.S. college campuses).
  • Transgender surgery on children is promoted and protected by law.
  • Homosexuality is considered a normal lifestyle.
  • Over 1 million babies are murdered every year by abortion.
  • Freedom of speech, our First Amendment right, is being taken away by anyone who disagrees by labeling it “misinformation.”
  • America, once a Christian nation, has become anti-God. (Just ask any Christian over 70 years old. They have seen this happen right before their eyes.)

PRAY FOR AMERICA!

The Bible says, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—  for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.  This is good, and pleases God our Savior,  who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2: 1-4 NIV

I urge all Americans to prayerfully consider the choices before us in this election. Vote for the agenda you want to see carried out. They are very different.

“The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord;
He turns it wherever He pleases.” Proverbs 21:1 NASB

Many died to give us freedom and the right to vote. Don’t toss it aside.

“For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.” Nelson Mandela

In His Love, Cindy

  1. Cindy, to answer your question, yes, as long as there are Americans who love God, there is hope. As I write this, on Yom Kippur, I’m watching a live stream of a gathering at the Mall in Washington DC, the “Million Women March,” with worship and prayers going out for repentance and salvation for America. I have to believe God is hearing us.

  2. My prayers for America if everyone can’t accept and love one another and stop judging because that belongs to Christ himself. I disagree with a lot of what you shared and to me that is okay. We are called to love everyone just like Jesus himself,no one’s life is perfect we simply need to accept someone the way they are and leave the rest up to Jesus

    1. Eileen, I am sorry to reply to your last email late, but I have been prayerfully thinking about how to answer you. I think it would be best if we didn’t discussed this publicly. Instead why don’t we have this conversation in private? This is my personal email: specialccd@icloud.com
God bless you today, my sister in Christ! 🙏

  3. I love this post. I agree wholeheartedly. Thank you for standing on your convictions! We need to shine the light of the truth from God’s word. It is important, as Christ followers, to be versed in His word and to share what we know with others. Ezekiel 3:18-19 Never worry about what others say. We can only be concerned with what God thinks. Satan hates when we share the truth. He would have us all be silenced. It is his agenda to stop the word of God. We know that he cannot. What a treasure we have in Jesus. You are right, as Christians, we need to pray. It is our glorious right to pray. Others may not agree and that is their right. I pray for everyone’s eyes will be opened to the truth. In Jesus’ name.
    Blessings Cindy!

    1. Thank you for referring me to Ezekiel 3:18-19. I needed that encouragement today (more than you know). God has been so faithful to bring me love and support from “blog friends” like you. It’s an amazing thing to me how He has brought us together from all around the world. I am so grateful. May the Lord bless you richly Donna, today and everyday! 🙏💕

      1. You are quite welcome! God is good to us. He supplies our every need. Sometimes even through each other. Read Acts 20:26-27.
May His blessings be upon you, as well, Cindy. Keep up the good work to which you were called. Love your sister in Christ, Donna.
