  1. Cindy, Psalm 94 is exactly what I needed to read today! I just read the entire chapter in several versions on Bible Gateway: the NLT, Amplified, KJV, and NET. Oh, praise God for His holy word!

Today, I am going with my son and his fiancee to their wedding rehearsal. My son’s father will be there. I was married to that man more than 40 years ago. Our marriage lasted for almost 11 years, when he tried to cause my death, in such a way that would look accidental, undoubtedly for the $250,000 life insurance policy I had at the time. When I survived and left the marriage, he then came after me and beat me, very very very badly, giving me a horrific concussion, the mental effects of which have never completely healed. My once perfectly formed nose is still crooked from that beating, too. I see it in the mirror every day.

This beating happened in 1989, but I still live with the physical and mental effects. Meanwhile, he got away with it, as I was too broken to pursue legal charges at the time. His life is prosperous and he has remarried, to a woman who has clearly been told lies about me. Her attitude toward me is so bad. At my granddaughter’s wedding in 2019, it was so hard being around them. Today, the wedding rehearsal. Sunday, the wedding. Monday, which will be my other granddaughter’s birthday, the two of them intend to be there for that celebration. While they treat me as though *I* am the bad person — God only knows what lies he told about me!

But yes, like Psalm 94 says, God knows! God doesn’t forget! The God who created the eye, sees! The God who created the ear, hears! Praise God!!!!!

    1. Oh, dear Linda, it makes me angry that someone was so mean to you. I will be praying for you as you go through the next few days. I can only imagine how difficult it will be to be around him. I pray that God will surround you with His peace like a wall of protection. I pray that you will experience that peace that passes understanding, a supernatural peace, a blessing from our Mighty God directly to you. Love you, Sister!

          1. Hi, Annie. I just got home a couple of hours ago, (Tuesday evening, September 7). It was very, VERY intense, on so many levels. God was definitely with me every step of the way! I will be writing a blog post after I get some sleep. Thank you SO MUCH for your prayers! Very needed and definitely answered. ❤

    2. Praying for you, Linda, that the Lord will fill you with His joy at that wedding celebration, and that the joy of the Lord will be your strength, His faithfulness your fortress and shield. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding guard your heart and mind. Just remember you are His child, and He loves you so much! ❤ (And so do a lot of us mortals, too!)

  2. Guess what just happened! A pastor friend from the Albuquerque area, who sends a daily Bible verse by text to a couple of hundred people, just sent out his daily text. It’s a verse from Psalms 94!!!!!! This was totally God!!!!!
