Daily Scripture, 2/25/19

“I have not departed from your laws,
    for you yourself have taught me.
 How sweet are your words to my taste,
    sweeter than honey to my mouth!
 I gain understanding from your precepts;
    therefore I hate every wrong path.
Your word is a lamp for my feet,
    a light on my path.” Psalm 119:102-105

  1. I went through Ps 119 every day for months and months a while back, and changed the words to make it into a prayer. (i.e., Let me not depart from your laws, for you yourself have taught me. Make your words sweet to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! I pray I gain understanding from your precepts; teach me to discern and hate every wrong path. May Your word ever be a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.)
