“Love is … kind…” I Corinthians 13: 4
My walk with Jesus has been abundant with failings to follow the right path. When I reflect on God’s kindness to me, I am amazed.
Why is God so patient and kind to me? Do I deserve it? Definitely not! And yet, He is always there, ready to listen to my cries for help. Always faithful to His promises, always revealing His great love for me expressed in His great kindness.
If I meditate on His kindness to me, how can I be anything but kind to others? God’s love is expressed in kindness. Sometimes that kindness doesn’t involve another person, but sometimes it does.
There have been many times when I received a note or gift from a friend, and that person had no idea that God was using their expression of kindness to lift my heart, encourage me, and turn my eyes back on Jesus.
I pray that we become more aware of the quiet voice, that nudge to express kindness toward those around us, and in so doing, perhaps deliver a message from the Lord to that person that says, “l love you. I am with you. Be encouraged.”
“So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline.” Colossians 3:12 The Message
“But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.” Titus 3:4

Do you know Jesus?
If you have never asked Jesus to be your Savior, you can do it now. He loves you more than you can comprehend, and it will change your life forever.
“IF YOU CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH, ‘JESUS IS LORD,’ AND BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, YOU WILL BE SAVED. FOR IT IS WITH YOUR HEART THAT YOU BELIEVE AND ARE JUSTIFIED, AND IT IS WITH YOUR MOUTH THAT YOU CONFESS AND ARE SAVED. AS THE SCRIPTURE SAYS, ANYONE WHO TRUSTS IN HIM WILL NEVER BE PUT TO SHAME.” ROMANS 10:9-11
