6. What do you like about blogging?

I love to write, and my prayer is that other women will be encouraged and comforted as I share what Christ has taught me and how He has comforted me during difficult times.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”  2 Corinthians 1:3-4

7. Who’s one of your favorite bible characters?

One of my favorite people in the Bible is Joseph. Joseph lived through many unfair situations in his life (sold as a slave, hated, lied about, falsely accused of rape, put in prison, and more). But instead of shriveling in despair and losing hope, Joseph trusted God in every situation and forgave those who hated him. His life is an example of what it means to trust God and what can happen when you do.

“… and he sent a man before them—
    Joseph, sold as a slave.
18 They bruised his feet with shackles,
his neck was put in irons,
19 till what he foretold came to pass,
till the word of the Lord proved him true.
20 The king sent and released him,
the ruler of peoples set him free.
21 He made him master of his household,
    ruler over all he possessed,
22 to instruct his princes as he pleased
and teach his elders wisdom.” Psalm 105:17-22 (NIV)

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 (NIV)

(Read more about Joseph in Genesis chapters 37 through 47).

This is My Journey Unscripted.

Do you know Jesus?

If you have never asked Jesus to be your Savior, you can do it now. He loves you more than you can comprehend, and it will change your life forever.

“IF YOU CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH, ‘JESUS IS LORD,’ AND BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, YOU WILL BE SAVED. FOR IT IS WITH YOUR HEART THAT YOU BELIEVE AND ARE JUSTIFIED, AND IT IS WITH YOUR MOUTH THAT YOU CONFESS AND ARE SAVED. AS THE SCRIPTURE SAYS, ANYONE WHO TRUSTS IN HIM WILL NEVER BE PUT TO SHAME.”   ROMANS 10:9-11

  1. PTL! Congrats on your Liebster Award! I love the badge you chose! I’m noting those movies. Love those songs! Kentucky’s not to far from NC, unless it’s not across town. 😉
I so appreciate that last video. How beautiful and powerful. Simple and clear.
